First off, I absolutely love the style and the premise of this game. Home invasion already freaks me out and up until the guy actually appears it's done REALLY well..
I see a few other people have a lot of the same criticisms that I do so I don't really want to harp on them too much. I go much more in depth on my thoughts in the video but I'll summarize a few things here.
I don't understand why there's a "VHS effect when there's obviously no camera. I'm not a big fan of those effects/filters anyway but that's more of a subjective thing.
The game looks amazing but it doesn't feel amazing to play. It's tough to describe but using the menu and opening doors feels very finicky.
I tried for a while to find some way to get an ending that wasn't just dying to the guy. That's fine and all but if the only way to get the game's ending is to die then having defensive items is a bit misleading. It just makes me think I have to find something. Maybe I do but that was just my experience.
Aside from all that smaller stuff I want to reiterate that I really like the game. These are just criticisms that come from a place of wanting to see the game improve. Good luck with making this into a full game! Looking forward to seeing more
Very well done sound was good except for the copyrighted music lol, graphics were amazing very playstation like, game play easy to learn easy to use, spook factor was very good I hated looking out the window and the dread of looking in the rooms were awesome all and all I can't wait for the full release and keep up the great work
Played this for my 2 scary games vid. I see the potential in this game, for sure. A few things I would note would be the flashlight mechanic; it toggles between staying on without pressing F to only working when I’m actively pressing F. The second thing would be the game freezing/crashing when I get caught by the intruder. I’d also try to check the messages on the phone but it usually didn’t work unless the game automatically checked for me to move the story forward. But all in all, I can’t wait to see how this game evolves.
Thank you for playing and the feedback ❤️ The flashlight mechanic was a design error, which will be fixed in future updates. The messages will be totally updated for a new system, much more dynamic than this one, with a contact list and more options for the final version.
This was good, the doors were a little funky a couple of times, but other than that it was a fun and creepy experience! Definitely gonna keep my eye on this!
You're welcome, and fair enough! They were a bit janky, but not enough to ruin the experience! Once again, it was fantastic and I look forward to the full game! :D
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it 😊We update the game with more objectives and endings to the game, our idea is to add a lot of replayability to this game.
Thanks! We will release more updates adding more content, depending on the repercussion, in 2 or 3 months time we might hold the updates for a paid version, something around 2 to 4 dollars (money that we would be using entirely for releasing the game also on steam) 😊
This has potential. however, in its current state, it more so feels like a proof of concept rather than an actual game. There are a lot of bugs, and there doesn't seem to be any way end the demo without dying.
I hope development continues, and I'm curious to see where it goes!
This game was great and has a lot of potentials. I enjoyed the game, but the only thing was that it was too dark and needs a flashlight or some sort. other than that its a good spooky game! Here's my gameplay if you want to check it out! please consider liking and subscribing if you enjoyed it! thank you!
At the current state of the game, it definitely has potential to become really amazing. Some things that I personally would suggest are updated controls instructions(flashlight, and esc doesn't pause) and maybe a reason why there's a 90's vhs filter with a modern day smartphone. I would love to see the improvements during this development. Well done, dev!
Thanks for playing ❤️ Unfortunately the 90's filter with the smartphone is a limitation. As the final version will depend a lot on dialogs, the solution I found was to use cell phone messages (something that in the 90's was not so popular), if I was to follow the 100% vhs style the dialogs should be from phone calls, and unfortunately I don't have any voice actor at my disposal.

Thank you! ✌️ The doors are based on physics, so it can be a bit janky at times, it's on my list for improvement!

Very spooky game, the atmosphere was spot on. Looking out that window drove me nuts.
I didn't really know what to do in the end xD

Thanks! We will release more updates adding more content, depending on the repercussion, in 2 or 3 months time we might hold the updates for a paid version, something around 2 to 4 dollars (money that we would be using entirely for releasing the game also on steam) 😊
Doors are my biggest weakness.
thanks for playing!✌️ the doors are physics based, so like everything physics based in videogames they can be a litte janky sometimes,
I'm glad you liked it! ✌️
nice
